For the past 40 years U.S. companies, regardless of size, type, or industry, have dealt with sexual harassment in the workplace using an almost uniform risk management and human resources perspective. However, despite these efforts, workplace and work-related sexual harassment is as pervasive as ever. Did you know the construction industry has one of the highest rates of sexual harassment and assault worldwide? What can be done to change our industry and workplace cultures? Join us in a new and candid conversation about the roots of harassment and what can be done to end it.

Pam Hummel is the Director of Field Marketing for Briq (formerly Brickschain), a technology company that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect environmental, financial, and project changes that impact businesses in the built environment, and provides solutions to respond to such events. A CFMA member since 1990, Ms. Hummel has served the construction industry for over 25 years with a strong background in surety and risk management, business development, research, and data & analytics. Pam is a member of the Orange County chapter of CFMA, where she has served as a Board Member and Membership Committee chair, and is a current member of the Southwest Regional Conference Planning Committee. Additionally, she has served CFMA on a National level, as Vice Chair of the Conference Planning Task Force (2013 & 2014); member of the CPTF (2012-2019), member of the Social Media Task Force, member of the Investment Subcommittee, and has participated in the National Mentor program. She recently completed her three-year term as a member of CFMA’s National Executive Committee.  Ms. Hummel has extensive industry public speaking experience, and has been a presenter at several National conferences, including CFMA National (2013, 2014 and 2015), AGC/CFMA Conference (2011, 2018), and the CICPAC Annual Conference (2012). She is the recipient of CFMA’s 2017 Debra Hahn Memorial Award.

Kevin Booth has served as Chief Financial Officer for Las Vegas, Nevada based WestCor Companies since 1994. WestCor is a specialty trade contractor performing framing, concrete, and masonry work on projects throughout the Southwest. Kevin holds a degree in accounting and is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). After gaining experience as a controller for 10 years in the hospitality industry, Kevin joined WestCor Companies. Today, Kevin is an active member and supporter of numerous industry organizations, including the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), joining the Las Vegas Chapter in 1994. He is a Past President of the Chapter and is an alumnus of both CFMA’s National Mentoring Program and CFMA at Spring Creek. Kevin has volunteered for numerous committees and task forces including the Sub-Specialty Subcommittee, Chapter Resource Committee, Education Steering Committee, Leadership Development Task Force, and Conference Program Task Force. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Nevada Contractors Association (NCA), an affiliate of AGC of America, and an active member of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association (SNHBA), an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) where he previously served on the Community Planning & Development Committee.
